Windows Vista SP1官方独立安装包发布了,包含简体中文版在内的所有语言版本都能在微软的下载中心下载，同时也能够通过Windows Update进行升级。
微软的下载说明:“Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) 是针对 Windows Vista 的更新程序,它解决了我们客户所反馈的一些问题。SP1 除了包含以前发布的更新之外,还解决了某些可靠性,性能以及兼容性问题,提供了对新硬件的支持,并增加了对几种新出现的标准的支持。SP1 也使 IT 管理员部署和管理 Windows Vista 变得更加容易.现在可以在任何语言版本的系统上安装 Windows Vista Service Pack 1 所有语言单行版本.”

注意:如果只是更新一台计算机可以不用下载上面这个,Windows Update 现已提供此更新程序的更小,更具针对性的下载(只有400多MB)。
再：Windows XP SP3,4月21日应该能够到官方下载了。
